Tuan Haji Mohd Dani Bin Md Ali was born dilahirkan on 05th January 1959 in Kundang Ulu, Muar.
He received his primary education at Sekolah Kebangsaan Kundang Ulu, Muar (1965 - 1971), and at SMK Tengku Temenggung Ahmad, Kundang Ulu, Muar (1972 -  1974) and then at SMK Dato' Sri Amar DiRaja, Muar (1975 - 1978).
     He obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from University Kebangsaan Malaysia (1979 - 1983) and his Diploma in Education from University Malaya in 1984.
     He started teaching at SM Sains Machang, Kelantan (1984 - 1990), and then at SMKA Maahad, Muar (1990 - 2001),  In 2001, he was transferred to SMK Sungai Abong, Muar as its Senior Assistant for Co-curriculum  and in early 2003, he was promoted to Senior Assistant for Student Affairs in the same school until 2006.
     He started his service at SMK Dato' Sri Amar DiRaja, Muar on 16th April 2006 as Senior Assistant for Student Affairs.
